Who we are

Carpenter Farrer was founded in Hove in 1976 (and incorporated in 2008) by ex-partners of a large London architectural firm. This small team of like-minded individuals had a passion for delivering creative design solutions that incorporated both design flair and economic build-ability; a philosophy that has seen us win a number of high profile commissions.

We believed then, as we do now, that great design is promoted when creativity meets skilled execution. Our practical understanding of how people and spaces work together, coupled with tried and tested project leadership skills, delivers bespoke project solutions that come in on-time and on-budget.

All this is built upon an understanding that every client brief is unique. That's why we take the time to gain a full appreciation of the individual complexities that may be involved, and then to work closely with our clients towards the successful realization of their vision.
