How we work
Our method of working dictates that the decisions that are taken through each stage of the project are regularly reviewed to ensure that the specific requirements of the Client’s brief are fulfilled…and, if appropriate, earlier decisions may be revised, by agreement with the Client, to seek cost effective improvements within the completed project.
Carpenter Farrer include the role of Principal Designer within all Architecture appointments and consider that a defining aspect that supports the success of their appointment as either Architect and/or Project Manager is to ensure compliance with the highest standards of global best practice.
Our commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) plays an active role in enabling us to maintain high standards in all aspects of design, professional practice, cost control, awareness of ever changing design standards and regulation together with the important topics of sustainability and energy efficiency.
An intrinsic aspect of ongoing best practice is the gathering of feedback from the end users of all completed projects during the early years of use and occupation.
Obtaining this feedback allows us to evaluate and ratify (or improve) the effectiveness of our designs and thought processes during the formative early stages of a project plus the content of our overall service provision.
